Each piece is an original mini painting on jeweler's grade brass or other metal substrate, etched, prepared and painted individually by me, then sealed. The jewelry is highly water resistant and probably waterproof. I've tested, had good results but cannot promise absolutely. A bit of commonsense caution is advised. I don't use resin. Surface textures are retained as they would be on any other painting ground. Each piece is velvety to the touch and of substantial heft. Each is signed by me. An occasional swipe or two with a polishing cloth is all that's needed to keep both the pendant and the chain bright. The pendants average around 2” square and the rectangles are around 2.75” x 1.75”. Other shapes vary in size. Pendants are priced at about $250; pins at about $85 depending on size and complexity. Larger pieces are priced accordingly.
